About The Journal
Journal of Cancer Therapeutics is a broad field of organic chemistry and its related disciplines such as medicinal chemistry, bio-organic chemistry and pharmaceutical chemistry and it provides a rapid dissemination of original research articles, reviews, short communications, rapid communications and abstracts. Rapid communications and abstracts of such research preserves their research credibility and to transmit their new contributions quickly to other researchers and the public. Cancer is the name given to a collection of related diseases that can start almost anywhere in the human body, which is made up of trillions of cells. Normally, human cells grow and divide to form new cells as the body needs them. When cells grow old or become damaged, they die, and new cells take their place. These extra cells can divide without stopping and may form growths called tumors. “This leads to Cancer”. Cancer cells are also often able to evade the immune system, a network of organs, tissues, and specialized cells that protects the body from infections and other conditions as some cancer cells are able to “hide” from the immune system. The word “Therapeutics” states means the branch of medicine concerned with the treatment of disease and the action of remedial agents and is also stated that serving and caring for the patient in a comprehensive manner, preventing disease as well as managing specific problems. Cancer Therapeutics the branch that deals specifically with the treatment of cancer and healing by use of drugs and the method of their administration. There are several ranges of treatments which are already available for cancer in recent times which include surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, hormonal therapy, targeted therapy and synthetic lethality. However, there is still a need for further research and new innovation of medicine in treatment of cancer. As per the World Health Organisation, The global cancer burden is estimated to have risen to 18.1 million new cases and 9.6 million deaths in 2018. One in 5 men and one in 6 women worldwide develop cancer during their lifetime, and one in 8 men and one in 11 women die from the disease
